Hangover Lounge

The Lexington DJs

Sunday, 23 December 13:00 - 19:00

The Lexington, 96-98 Pentonville Road, Kings Cross, N1 9JB

DJ Music: Rock, Indie, Pop, Reggae, Funk/Soul

How Much: Free!

The Lexington hosts its weekly soft comedown club for hard drinkers, The Hangover Lounge today from 1pm.

Nurse your weary body, drink hair of the dog, eat roasts and listen to soothing sounds chosen by resident DJs. It's the perfect Sunday afternoon for Saturday night drinkers - playing a relaxed blend of reggae, soul, indie, folk, and psychedelia, all at a volume you can talk over.

Just right DJ bar and gig venue which gets packed out almost every night thanks to a good Upper Street location. The Lexington - formerly Clockwork, and for a very brief moment Sazerac - is the new kid on the block.

The events team know what they're doing - White Heat hold their sister night here (White Light), Sudden Def throw thunderous drum 'n' bass parties and there's plenty of live music nights.

During big events, crowds make the ground floor bar slightly inaccessible, but on non gig days the downstairs bit of the Sazerac is a really good bet for a beer and lounge around.

A really cool local, and well worth a visit for a gig, thanks to an intimate but noisy sound stage and a great crowd.
