Our client is looking for a graduate who has recently commenced / is looking to begin company secretarial training. Ideally you will have a Legal / financial services background.
This is a graduate level secretarial role and you will support the Chief Executive and the Company Secretary.

Primary responsibility for audio typing
Secondary responsibility for assisting the Chief Executive's PA in diary management and other support
Covering for the Chief Executive's PA in her absence
Supporting the Company Secretary
Maintaining annual Company Secretarial schedule; preparation and filing of Companies House forms; and ensuring they meet Companies House and other deadlines
Administration of the Board and its Committees, including organising meeting dates/venues; drafting and distributing agendas and papers and subsequently typing and circulating Minutes
Administration for the Annual General Meeting. This involves liaison with Board members and their PAs, booking venues, dealing with queries and distribution of papers and agendas.
Preparation and electronic filing of Companies House forms including Annual Return. Maintenance of all statutory registers, including Members Register and Register of Director and Secretary.
Drafting, preparation and electronic filing of Annual Report & Financial Statements

Essential Skills
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and strong audio typing skills as well as basic PowerPoint and Excel.
Professional, can-do attitude and ability to take initiative in dealing with Board/Committee members and PAs
