Fundraising Manager - Volunteer Board Fundraising

London

Volunteer Board Fundraising at the NSPCC is well respected across the sector, but we know that we can do more and that there is the potential for significant growth.

A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced and talented manager, with extensive line management experience, to work in partnership with our National Development Board (NDB) and with the fundraising managers for each board. The NDB has overall responsibility for income raised by our volunteer fundraising boards: its aim is to maximise voluntary income raised for children from a variety of different sources including major giving, gifts in wills, events, corporate and community fundraising. Developing major gift fundraising capabilities in the team will also be a key part of this role.

The NDB is comprised of chairmen from the fundraising boards. Working with the Senior Fundraising Manager, the Head of Department and the team, you will develop the NDB structure and strategy. You will also identify opportunities and challenges across the boards and the wider organisation and work in partnership with the NDB to co-ordinate fundraising opportunities and raise more money for children.

You will have extensive experience of working in partnership with senior volunteers and inspiring them to network and maximise fundraising opportunities. As a successful fundraiser and a great networker, you will be highly organised and able to build productive relationships with colleagues across the organisation.

As an experienced manager you will be able to lead, develop and motivate a team of six fundraisers who work across our fundraising boards.

This is an exciting and busy role and you will play a key part in taking NSPCC volunteer board fundraising to the next level.

For more information or an informal chat about the role, please contact Emma Williams on 0207 825 2809.
