The Company administers its schools, almshouses, and charities that contribute mainly to educating the young and helping older people in need. The Company has five schools; Tonbridge School, Skinners' School, Judd School, Skinners' Kent Academy and Skinners' Academy.

About the Role
We seek an innovative and strategic leader with proven management skills for this exciting and challenging role.
The Education Officer is the focal point for all educational matters in the Skinners' Company. A key part of the portfolio is to be Clerk to the Governors of four of our schools, being assisted in this task by the Assistant Education Officer. The role entails full involvement with the Company's Education Committee, acting as its Clerk, and, together with that Committee, being responsible for the smooth running of the Company's educational interests.
About the Person
The post will be of interest to someone who has a passion for education and who has the vision, imagination and communication skills to help shape the future development of this important and highly regarded family of schools, supervising the other educational interests of the Company, and advising the Company of possible new directions in its involvement in education. The appointment will be subject to CRB and Medical checks.
