Lecturer in Behavioural Neuroscience

The appointment will be full time on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be £35,707 - £38,744 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.

We seek to appoint an internationally recognised early-career scientist who will develop a thriving research programme in the field of behavioural neuroscience, using animal models of cognition and behaviour. We are seeking candidates whose research agenda will attract broad-ranging high-level collaborations within the wide community of UCL and its partners, and also nationally/internationally, and thereby strengthen UCL's reputation internationally as a leader in the field. The candidate will also contribute significantly to teaching, including, in the first instance, organisation of the behavioural neuroscience module of the Neuroscience MSc.

Candidates should have a PhD, with experience in behavioural neuroscience or a related field; a track record of research; and enthusiasm for university teaching in this field. The post-holder will have track record of extensive publications in high quality peer-reviewed scientific journals and conferences, as well as an active research profile at international level with a strong and ongoing track record of external research grant funding. The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
