We have a newly created opportunity for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our Markets & International Banking (M&IB) team.

Through its physical presence in all major business markets and financial hubs, it delivers market-leading services in debt financing, risk management and transaction services

Role Purpose

As Digital Marketing Manager, you'll play an integral role in the development and delivery of the customer focused online presence for the International Banking division of M&IB. You'll lead the definition, project management and execution of targeted communication activities including online display advertising, search engine marketing, content development and email campaign management.

Key Accountabilities

Support the International Banking Business and Marketing Services Managers in being the centre of excellence for the creation and production of digital advertising and digital communications
Provide the International Banking business with direction and guidance in respect of the most appropriate digital marketing channels to meet the needs of the business
Work closely with the Senior Marketing and Marketing Services Managers to convert Marketing briefs into a creative brief to generate digital design proposals and manage the digital aspects through to completion
Manage the continual development of the content of the International Banking web pages, ensuring rich content such as video and articles are added to support the content
Use the templates provide by the central digital team, ensuring all digital work produced adheres to the RBS brand guidelines and builds the RBS brand
Be responsible for securing all approvals including key stakeholders as well as required legal and compliance before materials are published digitally
Manage all third parties suppliers ensuring adherence to the online best practices
Be responsible for managing/monitoring the budget for all digital components, sourcing quotes, presenting to the business and ensuring agreed budget is not exceeded
Manage the evaluation of digital marketing and be responsible for the reporting of digital marketing components of a marketing campaign to demonstrate value-add Return On Investment, ensuring recommendations are included
Proactively recommend ways in which International Banking can improve the digital content and use of digital channels
Where appropriate, provide feedback on the approved digital and media buying agencies as part of the annual review/update from an International Banking digital marketing perspective
Develop awareness of what our competitors are doing digitally across the International Banking industry and make recommendations as to how we can differentiate ourselves using digital marketing
Identify new trends and ideas and explore how they can be exploited and introduced into International Banking to advance the delivery of the digital marketing plan
Use web analytics to evaluate and proactively inform online marketing activities

Essential Experience

Managing marketing projects in large international company
Multiple project management skills
Online marketing campaign management
Strong stakeholder and supplier management
Detail conscious ensuring reliability at all times and committed to producing high quality, professional work in a team environment
Ability to work in a fast paced demanding environment
Strong budget management
Internal and external communication and marketing advisory experience
Financial services knowledge and experience would be beneficial
