About the Role

NVQ Trainer / Assessor - Health & Social Care

An Exciting Health and Social Care Assessor/ Trainer Opportunity has arisen at Barchester.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Health & Social Care assessor/trainer to join our Learning and Development team full time.

We are currently looking to recruit a new person to cover the following area; Kent, Essex, SE London

What is expected of you as an assessor/ trainer?
The role would involve visiting our Care Homes;
- to assess our employees working towards an Apprenticeship or VQ qualification in Health & Social Care
- use an e-portfolio system to communicate with learners and allow them to produce evidence

About you:
- experience with Health & Social Care Apprenticeship frameworks/ Vocational Qualifications (NVQs)/ Key Skills/ Functional Skills/ Technical Certificates at Levels 2 & 3 as an assessor
- be a confident communicator, have experience of e-portfolios and have the ability to manage a case load of learners
- have the training skills and qualifications to deliver some of our legislative and mandatory training
