We currently have fantastic opportunity working for a world-famous 'super-brand' at our iconic Harrods store.

Our unrivalled concessions offering gives Harrods customers an indulgent retail experience unlike any other, accounting for nearly £600 million of our annual sales. A figure to which this brand is a main contributor.

We are looking for candidates with at least 2 years of luxury retail experience. They will have the passion and the drive to work for one of the hottest brands on the market, exhibiting world class customer service skills.

Knowing the latest trends and lines across a range of brands, you will live and breathe luxury retail. Being a leading seller you will demonstrate the ability to consistently hit and exceed targets throughout the year.

Job Description
Position Purpose
The Sales Associate is the face of a concession and is responsible for providing a complete shopping experience for our customers that is unrivalled by our competitors. Sales Associates are responsible for providing the highest levels of customer service, demonstrating exceptional product knowledge & building quality customer relationships that result in increased sales & repeat business. They live & breathe our brand values. They create a shopping experience that's fun & friendly & they have a passion for selling.
Principal Accountabilities
Sales & Service :
Welcome all customers within one minute of entering the department.
Achieve sales per hour standards as a minimum requirement.
Meet individual sales targets by selling at every opportunity.
Maximise sales revenue by offering related products.
Approach customers & initiate a conversation.
Ask open questions to establish customer needs.
Increase sales by selecting products to meet customer needs highlighting the features & benefits of the product.
Give accurate & current information about the product; if the correct information is not at hand, do everything possible to provide an answer before the customer leaves the store.
Direct customers throughout the Store or to the specific area the customer requests at all times, even when going on breaks.
Follow all Customer Care Standards, including telephone standards.
Aim to achieve Guest Shopper commendations.
Handle multiple customers effectively.
Understand & properly execute all systems & POS procedures to ensure quick sales transactions.
Work as part of a team by sharing selling support duties & demonstrating flexibility with regard to hours & days of work.
Attend briefing meetings & training sessions.
Merchandise:
Assist with presentation of stock, ensuring that it follows the set standards.
Ensure all stock is ticketed and priced.
Liase with your Manager and Buying team, suggesting alternative locations for products and provide feedback through customers%u2019 comments.
Assist in weekly stock counts and rotation of perishable goods.
Replenish stock.
Assist with (annual/bi-annual) Stock takes.
Ensure security procedures are followed in order to prevent theft.
Keep stock, stock rooms, till points and fixtures, fittings and merchandise clean and tidy.
Personal Contribution:
Keep up to date of ongoing issues and developments within the company by reading the Harrods Bulletin, Your Harrods Magazine and other Company information.
Develop product knowledge, knowledge of competitors, product developments and market trends.
Adhere to Company dress code, attendance and time keeping standards.
Work as part of a team by sharing selling support duties & demonstrating flexibility with regard to hours and days of work.
Clientelling:
Maintain key information about your best customers e.g. dress size, recent purchase, key dates (birthdays), favourite brands in order to provide them with exceptional levels of service.
Provide a one-to-one personalised service to your best customers.
Notify your best customers about new product arrivals that match their preferences.
Build lasting relationships with your best customers.
Use clientelling to deliver increased sales through effective up selling & cross selling throughout the Store.
Must Be:
Available to work Sunday to Saturday on a rota basis.
Available to work late nights.
Able to stand for extended periods of time.
