Position Overview

To deal with booking customers for furniture assembly within a time limited environment. Route planning for the fitting teams throughout the UK, including transport of goods. Inbound customer service enquiries regarding fitting both verbal and e-mailed within the company agreed time limits. To work in line with the company charters to ensure excellent customer service at all times. To minimize costs to the business by agreeing the best solution for the customer whilst still being cost effective.

Essential Job Functions/Duties

Inputting customers sales orders
Input new eBay items on eBay and deal with customer enquiries from eBay
Send TDA booking lists to retailers every day before 5.00pm
Contact new TDA customers to arrange delivery slots and confirm bookings
Route planning for the TDA fitting teams throughout the UK, ensuring the most economic and timely route for each day.
Create the jobs files for the TDA fitting teams
Liaise with warehouse to ensure all furniture and parts are in correct location for each of the fitting teams.
Produce revisit reports for the fitting teams so that they are aware of all repairs needed when revisiting a customer.
Monitor the fitting team's tracker and report any anomalies to your line manager each day.
Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
Works with the customer service teams to ensure re-visits are able to meet the customers' needs.
Provides statistical reports on route planning, costs and delivery as requested by management.
Arranges collections and dis-assembly carried out by the fitting teams.
Completes necessary product service and fault report information to allow fault analysis to be completed (SRN)
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Attends company trade shows, at least 1 per year.
General Warehouse duties, including warehouse management software and inbound deliveries.
Other Skills/Abilities

ECDL Excel qualification or equivalent is desirable.
Excellent telephone manner
Excellent geographical knowledge of the UK to allow route planning
Good negotiation skills
